Radiohead tours the U.S. quite a bit actually. Muse, on the other hand, have released two of their three albums (Absolution on the 23rd here), and not only haven't really played Cali, but haven't played the U.S. period. So to see them in some stupid desert town is incredible.
Oh, and I'm getting free tix hopefully. Even though I'd really, really, really want to see Radiohead, the Pixies, and the Stills on Saturday, Sunday would win out for me. Definitely. I have to see Ash and Muse and Pretty Girls Make Graves.

According to the people on the Muse board, Muse has actually come here before, in 2000 i think but i don't know where.
And you have to realize that I live in Michigan...Radiohead doesn't come here because of something about the big 3

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble if they're planning on going to see Coachella but I just found this on greenplastic.com:
All anyone can talk about this week is the Coachella Festival. Coachella this, Coachella that. And with good reason: with live acts like Pixies, Cure, Radiohead, Ash and a host of others, it’s the best music lineup in the States, perhaps ever. But is there a chance one of the headliners will bow out? Radiohead had to cancel their final gig before Coachella, the last show on their Australian tour, after Thom Yorke developed throat problems. Going on stage meant risking permanent damage to his voice, so the band called the show off. What does this mean for this weekend’s endeavor in the desert? Hopefully nothing, but here’s to Thom’s voice healing in time for all the sweating drunks to revel in his magic on Saturday night.
We lack any confirmation from Radiohead's people stating that they will cancel their performance. Stay tuned...
Apparently, however, they are in LA right onw so maybe they'll go on just the same. I kind of hope that they cancel though so that they might feel bad and reschedule another US date to make up for it, only that isn't in fucking California
