This is a really neat site that tells a band's cover song performances and who has covered their songs:

http://www.coversproject.com/artist/

This portion of the site displays the longest chain of covers known (kind of like six degrees of separation, heh): http://www.coversproject.com/longest/

A neat thing I discovered is that In Flames (a power metal group) did a cover of "Land of Confusion", one of my favorite Genesis songs. :)

Ooh that site's neat. Someone put a link to it on the hub a few weeks ago. Didn't see that longest chain thing then, though! *checks it out*

Yay, Oasis is in the longest chain known! ... just wish it wasn't cos of Rod Stewart covering "Cigarettes & Alcohol". *shudder* Horrible horrible cover of a great song.

Oh, and umm... "Most Covered Song: Who Do You Love (covered 159 times)"... they've got that so unbelievably wrong it's not even funny. As most people know, the most covered song is "Yesterday" by The Beatles... it's been covered over 2500 times or something like that. Cool site, but they shouldn't use their stats as fact like that. Ahh well.
