Southerners
How did you guys even have a childhood without the followong key aspects:
Snowforts
Snowball Fights
Toboganing
Snow Days
SEASONS!!!
Skating
Skiiing
Runny noses
Staying out untill you can't feel your toes......and not caring
Hot chocolate
Snow Banks
Jumping in Deep Snow Banks
Kicking those buildups of slush off your parents cars
Licking something and getting your tongue stuck
Eating snow....untill you realize it's not a very good idea
Shovelling the neighbor's driveways as a lucrative business
Facewashes
Snow Men making
Snow angels
Icesicles
i feel so bad for you guys, you've been so deprived of the basics of childhood.
anyone else is free to add to my list

lol but deprived either way, besides i hate the cold now, but when you were a kid it didn't matter, probably because you weren't worried about looking like an idiot, so you wore huge snowsuits, scarfs, mittens, and all the other proper attire. Now i'm much to cool for all that

Haha I remember having a plastic Barbie sled when I was little, I was so excited to take it to the hill
Then when I got older I got a snowtube, those were the best

You should define the south. Most of Florida never has snow, nor anything really close to the Gulf. The rest of us who live in the mountains though, we get all that good stuff. Not evil Canadia snow, but snow that is evil enough for us.

I definitely mixed those two phrases up. I read that as "Licking those buildups of slush off your parents cars". I wondered if I was missing out on something..

Hey I grew up in California and we got to see snow, maybe it took a short trip to the mountains but it's not like we're completely "deprived". I have bad circulation so my toes are often cold and I have allergies so my nose is often running, I would have really liked to been "deprived" of those actually:)

were not deprived we got
beaches and the weather for them 300 days out of the year.
ever get a sun tan by just standing outside for 20 minutes?
driving with the windows down and the music up is a big thing here
you can't water ski on a frozen ice.......or can you?
playing football on grass, not on a mound of snow
you can actually sleep outside...in the buff and not freeze you nuts/lack of nuts off
you get to drive around and observe winter texans in their big assed winnies.
sure you got ice skating, hello.....rollerblades?
sittin under the orange tree and eating oranges till you bust at the seams
ect......
