Ok, name your favorite movie of all time, or the movie that is currently your favorite. Just give a brief synopsis of the movie. Then tell if you would recommend it.

To start things off :

My favorite movie of all time is Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. If you havent seen or heard of it ( :D ), its about a bunch of pirates looking for the last piece of Cortez gold. They need to find it in order to lift their curse, which will bring them back to being mortal.
Honorable Mentions : Geoffrey Rush, Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, and Orlando Bloom

I would recommend it because of the sarcastic comedy from the mouth of Johnny Depp and the overall goodness of the movie.

That is a good movie. But, you're biased. I've seen those pictures of Johnny Depp!!!

Ummm ... my favourite movie? Donnie Darko is one of them. I'm to lazy to explain why ... it just had everything I like about movies in it. Except Orlando Bloom, but that's beside the point.

haha, before i saw pirates in theaters, i didnt even like johnny or orlando, i thought johnny was a pale faced loser that had scissors for hands and then i thought orlando was a prep from england with pointy ears

seriously im not being biased, but since then ive created a cult towards them 2 men and... dont get me started , also i've learned to appreciate good actors (but not orlando) and .... umm ...ya

i just think it was really well written, dont get me wrong here

Damn you people and your hatred of Orlando Bloom.
But oh well, to each his own. Or her own ... whatever.

I liked the movie too, and not just for the actors. I thought it was really good, considering it came from a theme park ride :freak:

Well, my favorite is Band of Brothers :D

Rushmore.

It's an independant comedy starring Jason Schwartzman (Phantom Planet) and Bill Murray and how they both fall in love with the same woman. Jason is a student at a high school and is a gifted playwright and Murray is a successful businessman and it's about their attempts at getting a teacher to choose them.

It has a lot of dry sarcasm and implied humor in the movie, and I think it's an amazing movie. Nobody apreciates it though.
