Friendster

Anyone on Friendster?
Me and a couple of my friends are on there (one of them dragged me onto their just to add to his friends list, hahaha). I don't seriously expect to meet anyone, even just to be friends with them, but does anybody else use it? I'll add you.
The biggest problem I see with Friendster is that there's a LOT of the same type of people there (i.e. scene/emo teenagers, hahaha).

It's mostly just for meeting people in general, and not necessarily JUST people to date.

Do you meet people from your area, then actually meet them in real life? Or is it just a place to talk to random people from all over?

Yeah, it's for talking to people from all over but you can decide if you want to ONLY add people in your area.
