I work at Best Buy.
I mean, I like the discounts on everything (except for Ipods....dirty cunts), but closing the store sucks because even though I'm scheduled to leave at 11, I don't get out until 1, and I don't think I get paid for my overtime.
I work whenever they schedule me and they never give me days off when I ask for them. They bitched at me for missing work yesterday for a wake. I almost quit.
I don't like my job.

i don't have one right now. I used to work at Arctic Circle, I worked there for about a year and a half (it's a burger place but its only around utah i think) and I also had a summer job at a huge warehouse once which was pretty boring. Last summer I worked at Arby's which SUCKED. I applied for a job today, but I couldn't get it because I don't have enough *experience* or so they tell me.

I work at a theme park, called De Efteling, which is really cool. But it's only open in the summer (and a couple of weeks in the winter, but I prefer to spend my holidays not working) and last summer I was busy with going on vacations so I took a year sabbatical

But when the parks open again I'll go back. They don't pay very well, but it's a fun job. I usually work at the games section, where people have to throw balls at cans and pull strings with prices attached and things like that. Sometimes I help with the rides, that's fun too, but gets boring after a while. Usually the people (guests, we're not allowed to call them customers

) are very friendly and happy (except Israelians) and that makes the job a lot easier.

I work at a bakery, washing dishes and anything else my boss can find. I work on Saturdays only. My boss just hired someone to work my job during the week. And on Saturdays. Now there will be two people doing my job on the same day. wtf? I hate this. I feel like it's going to be some sort of competition. I actually hope I "lose" and get fired (though I know that would never happen). I work my ass off for about $55 a week. I want a job with evening hours so I can work more and get more money. I want a job that's not so labour-intensive. I want a job that doesn't cause my boss to tell me (when I started) "This is a job that will make you want to stay in school." I want to quit my job, but can't because of my dad.
Woo.

I'd have a job but right now I am volunteering at the general hospital because I am an huge loser, and during the week I am doing a co-op program at my dentists office, so that goes till 5. Once this is all over (next term) I will have my resume and shit all done and lots of experience and references and I am going to own that fucking HMV. bastards.

I used to work at Hallmark and if you ever get the opportunity, take it because it is quite possibly the sweetest job ever. You don't really do all that much and old ladies are really, really funny.

I work Saturday, and on Monday through Tuesday, my hands are all gross and peeling.
It's because when I'm not over the sink, I'm washing some sort of mixer or sheeter with a bucket of water.

Yeah, it really sucks.
I would love to do something like telemarketing or something. That would be great.

I always wanted to work at Hallmark too! I tried to get a job there two summers ago, but I was haying.
I work on campus, doing crap with the online courses. I just sit there and usually they can't find anything for me to do so I try to look like I'm doing something, but I'm not. I know it sounds sweet, but I really hate it. I want to go back to the mooch I was.

I work at Stop & Shop. Don't ever work there, it's depressing man. I hate it. They load on the hours when I'm on vacation, and they give me three day weeks when there's school (I work all weekend)... Some people think the money's worth it, but I miss my weekends.
The managers appreciate a lack of personality. They like you to be robotic.

I read that as you washing a shitter with a bucket of water
So yeah, I work for Walmart as a manager trainee right now. I love my job, and every job I've ever done there. The people I work with are awesome, and our regular customers always say hi whenever I see them in the store or outside of the the store at other places. I should be able to retire early from there, when I'm 41 or something, if I want to.
