It depends on what you consider as "sucking", but how about ...

REM - It's The End Of The World As We Know It, or Orange Crush
The Smiths - anything really - maybe Panic of This Charming Man or Girlfriend in a Coma
The Pixies - Where Is My Mind?
Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
New Order - Blue Monday
Bon Jovi - Living on a Prayer
Talking Heads - Road to Nowhere
Billy Idol - White Wedding
A-ha - The Sun Always Shines on TV

OK. Here's some songs from the 80s that I like. But then again, yeah, we don't see eye to eye musically.

The Cure - Boys Don't Cry
The Cure - Friday I'm In Love
The Cure - Just Like Heaven
Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus
Anything by KMFDM
Anything by The Smiths/Morrisey

OK, this is what I listened to in the 1980s. This is why I'm fucked up beyond belief.
