The Death of 90's Modern Rock Bands in 2003

OK, 2003 has seen an unprecedented (in my experience) number of band break-ups. I thought we might compile a list:
Headstones
I Mother Earth (all indications point to break up after a DVD release)
Big Sugar
Everclear
Moist (officially on hiatus, but Karen Bliss noted their breakup in CANOE)
All of these bands in one year, sheesh.
Anybody have any more?
Treble Charger?
Anyway, at one time these bands were all that you would ever see on Muchmusic. Out of Canadian acts that were popular in the mid-nineties, it seems only OLP are left!

although Janes Addiction did get back together this year, which is ironic, seeing as how they defined the term "Alternative" back in the day. But i suppose they'll be splitting up again right after this tour.
It's sad to see so many good bands disapearing, Bush is basically done now too from what i've heard, silverchair too, but they were kinda ore in the grunge scene back then
actually now that i think of it IME, OLP, and Moist were all pretty tight back when they first came out. They shared fans and stages time and time over again. They kinda made up an entire music scene in Canada.

What!? First of all, Treble Charger didn't break up, Bill Priddle just left the band...
and as for the Pearl Jam thing, I want some proof, cause that's news to me!

Glad I'm not the only one who had no idea Everclear broke up.

When did that happen?

Everclear broke up?! Crazy...
It really sucks about IME's hiatus. TQMD was the best album of 03.
Man i'd really love to see Moist back together. David Usher's solo albums are good.. but aren't even close compared to Moist's work.
Another band to add to that list is The Watchmen. Not extremely popular, but really underrated band.

I think Everclear broke up sometime in the spring. I know Art is going solo now.

Oh Jesus, I was thinking of The Walkmen when I read The Watchmen. I don't even know who The Watchmen are. Everyone should check out The Walkmen.
