and sean, we've got one song completely finished and mixed, unfortunately I only have a copy of the unmixed version, so you'll have to wait a week or two . . . also, generally this recording is taking us WAY longer than we expected . . . I think we're all becoming perfectionists and want this cd to be really damn spankin good . . . right now we're looking at Feb-Mar for completion.

choir rules! seriously, it seems like the dorkiest thing ever, but i've had the most fun in my entire life in this choir.

our whole choir is obsessed w/ eric whitacre, we do tons of his stuff . . . and last year (before I joined) we did when david heard and apparently it literally had the entire audience and half the choir in tears by the end of it . . . apparently they dedicated to our director's mother who was really sick at the time so you can imagine how emotional that would be. and did you know when david heard has EIGHTEEN harmony parts . . . EIGHTEEN!!!!!

holy shit...i thought 14 was a lot when my high school choir did "water night"
i would give anything to sing when david heard...to be the soprano that climaxes in the very beginning of the 10th minute
