Nickelback Tickets - Regina, January 31

an advance sorry if i've posted this in the wrong place.

anywho. i'm desperately searching for tickets to that nickelback concert in regina. by anychance would anyone have a pair that they'd like to give up to my grubby hands? (yes, i'll pay for them. extra if i must, too)

i should probably go into the story here (getting into the 'feel-sorry-for-me-so-help-me-out' thing). you see, i had a wonderful christmas present planned out for my boyfriend (tml hoodie), but his dad went off to toronto and brought back my present idea, so that screwed me over royally. now, since i'm a horrid girlfriend, i have no other idea for an xmas present. that is, until he announced that he wanted to go to the nickelback concert in regina on january 31. of course, he announced this after the show sold out.
so, being a not so horrid girlfriend, i'm working my buns off trying to win tickets, hunt them down, the whole deal. i hate nickelback, but still, i'm finding these tickets for him.

if anyone has two tickets they could do without, please, please, let me know, or even if you know where i could get two tickets, let me know about that too.

thanks :)

i've tried ebay. no luck. just for saskatoon, which i was considering if i could get tickets, and those are painfully expensive. :(.

trying to get a ticket to a sold out show is usually expensive.

i'm well aware i'll have to pay more..but $256 for two tickets is a tad out of my budget.

How much were the tickets for Regina???? Saskatoon's tickets are expensive?? I didn't think they were...they are the same amount they usually are for any other concert....Approx..$49 for good seats and 39 for nose bleed seats... Is the Saskatoon show sold out too? I got my tickets for it before they went on sale so I don't know any other information...

the tickets are the normal low price if you buy them normally, through a good source type deal (your normal old cbo or ticketmaster or whatever). but through ebay, they go through the roof.
as i've heard, the saskatoon one's sold out too. i could be wrong on that, though.

I, being from regina usually have good contacts with extra concert tickets, however, no one I've come across has Nickelback tickets so far...

Nickelback sold out within 25 mins here. It took OLP til the day of the show to sell out. I find that sad

thefting..not a shabby idea, but i know no one with tickets.
i was thinking about going to the local rock station that's giving away tickets, and telling them my sob story..but i don't know how well that will go over.

gr. i was hoping you would know something, lando, as you seem to be the all knowing one around the parts here at the cm..

i think i'll have to abandon the ticket idea for christmas. after all, it is in ..uh..counting on fingers here...14 days. no. 24. no! 21. if they fall into my lap, wonderful, but i have a backup plan. a gamecube. guys like videogames, right? and he wants one..so..if i get tickets, it gets returned, and if i don't get tickets..he gets a gamecube.

Sounds good. Even I'd want a Gamecube and I already have one!

I just want the zelda pack that comes with... but another GC would be sweet too.

And the radio station thing wont work, I know people who've tried it. The best you can do is Call them and hope they tell you when and how you can win tickets and then try to get them that way. Sometimes they'll do that to give you a little advantage.

it's official. i've given up on trying to get tickets. i have a gamecube in my grubby hands, and i'm flat out of energy to try for these damned tickets.

thank you for the suggestions, mind you.

and lando, if he doesn't want the zelda disk, i'll huck that sucker your way if you want...as far as i know, he doesn't like zelda whatsoever.

okey doke then..i'll send you off an email (or a pm, or whatever you prefer) when i know if he wants the disk or not (after christmas, of course) and we'll figure any junk concerning it out. now, i think this thread gets to topple over and die, as it's been waiting to do.
