You have to see it to believe it.

The most amazing commercial I have EVER seen.

Fully two minutes long, it's a Honda commercial called "Cog," the most elaborate Rube Goldberg device you've ever seen set to film, all made entirely of car parts. It required 606 film takes to get right. It's so perfectly filmed, you can't imagine it, you've just got to see it.

And yes, that is the best two mintues of television anyone here will ever watch. That is all one take. No editing.

I don't think it's ever actually been aired here, but I saw the video on the net a long time ago.

In fact, I posted this link on the board: http://multimedia.honda-eu.com/accord/

But I think that might have been before your time here. :P

I saw it as well. Global News in Edmonton put it on the air, because of its uniqness and only because that commercial was made for England

Well, I for one had never seen it before....... holy crap. Makes you wonder how many times they had to run that before they finally got a good take... and how loud they cheered when they did.

And, to make it even cooler, they used "Rapper's Delight" as the song.

If you had read anything in this thread, you'd note that it took 606 takes. :P

If you look on the site I posted, it explains a lot of stuff. The tires were counter-balanced.
