I found one (
http://www.zingy.com) but you have to pay.
I guess I'm ok with paying as long as they have ringtones that I want. I'd really like to find a decent cut of "Hey Ya" by OutKast but it would have to be in mono form and not poly. I'm too cheap to buy a decent cell phone.
I found a HORRIBLE sounding version of Somewhere Out There....
It blows because I used to have a kickass cut of "starseed" on my old phone, but I cannot recall where I DL'ed it from.

Shit, so now I've found the OLP ringtones that I used to have.......BUT they are in RTTTL coding, and I need to switch them into midi format and then be able to download them.
I can't recall the website that I used "back in the day" to convert the coding, and I was able to send them to my phone through the net.
Son of a BITCH...

Care to share that site with the rest of us?
And, this won't help you cos you can't get polyphonic tones, but for anyone who can:
http://www.polyphonicringtonez.com/
Free.
Now, if only I could get them on my freaking phone. Someday, I'm gonna talk my mom into calling Cingular and getting us web access on our phones. SOMEDAY.

Does ANYBODY know of a website where I could convert RTTTL format coding (like these OLP tones) to midi???
I used to use this site where I could convert it RIGHT on their site, and send the tone to my phone through their site, but of course I misplaced that a couple years ago.
Or where do I buy the connection cable to do it through my computer?? I might have to do that because I need ringtones dammit!

If you use this site they have them in that format already

Right......you can play the MIDI form on the site, but they don't allow you to send it to your phone. Neil has a TracFone and they don't run through a carrier soooo I can't DL tones off the net.
Sooo I've figured out that I need to buy a serial cable (which I got off ebay today for 3.00) and then download a "ringtone composer" program, and transfer the tones from my PC to my Celli.
I wanted to get a phone through Verizon Wireless, but I'm hotwired so I'd have to give them a 2 thousand dollar deposit first.

I just get mine from the AT&T website, most of them are only a dollar and they even have a few free ones. Right now my ring is inspector gadget!

I ordered a serial cable through some dude on ebay....and I should have it by the middle of next week.
Then I just need to take the codes off that site I posted above, copy/paste into my "ringtone composer" program, and POOF I can send it to my phone

I even contacted TracFone, just to be sure, and they got back to me and was like "We do understand that Nokia, as a company, programs the phones to have the ability to download new ringtones, but we as a company do not support that feature."

sooo.....fuck them, I'll PC-2-Celli the damn things.
