I have pigeons on my balcony. Normally, I don't mind bird but they are making a MESS! That's not cool, good feathers. I need to get rid of them but banging on the glass door or say "shoo stupid birds" is just getting me a little neck turn look. HELP. Any Ideas on how to get rid of them?

LOL yah.. I'll just get a couple of hookers from the corner to stand on my balcony.. that'll scare them away :)

you know how birds look at you, but they like twist their necks to look at you..that's what I meant.

fake plastic owl!

it works for swallows and other annoying birds..i'd imagine it would work for pigeons..
or not...i just did a quick search on pigeon deterrents, and it seems pigeons poop on them, and aren't scared of them. well. crap.

buy a hawk.

or a windchime. this website says windchimes work. but i think a hawk would be shnazzy. you could give it a neat name like Humphrey.

THERE YA GO!

Every house in our neighborhood has a fake owl on their roof......even the landlord of my apartment put one on our house. The freakin pigeons are annoying around here.

You want a quick and easy solution?
get a board and a nail.
thats all you need.

as long as you have arms. and since you have the ability to type i am going to assume that you have that.

*sings Thom-style* Fake plaaaaaastic owls... :P

Maybe you could cut some hawk silhouettes out of black construction paper and tape them onto the glass. They do that at zoos to prevent birds from flying into the glass. Dunno if it'll work to keep pigeons away - I'm not even sure if they're scared of hawks. :)
