Today i broke up with my boyfriend. Things were going well with us so it was sort of out of no where for him.......but I just didn't feel the same about him....i was only interested as a friend and I didn't think it would be fair to lead him on more.
Now, my mom gave me some really good advice on how to break up with him and why she agrees with me ETC.
And I confided in my best friend and told her about my conversation with my mom.
She basically stabbed me in the back and told my boyfriend everything that my mom told me after we broke up. He thinks I was egged on by my mom. And now he wont talk to me and says that if I even try talking to him he'll cuss me out.
I'm really hurt, because I've lost trust in my best friend and she's ruined me and my ex's friendship.

I find that it's always the friend you trust the most that stabs you in the back.
My best friend did it to me just yesterday, and it was meant to hurt me. I am going to have to see her make out with the guy I have liked for more then six months, tonight. I don't know what I'm going to do ... or say.
I'm sorry Marissa. You don't deserve this, and your boyfriend sounds really close-minded for not talking to you. People like that don't seem worth it, do they?

Well I'm sure he's really hurt, to find out from your friend. But your friend is a bitch for doing that. Girls really are backstabbing, and I have no idea why. I try really hard not to be like that, but it's like in our nature or something. I think I operate like a guy.

Man, that really sucks for both of you guys, I'm real sorry. First off, Caitlin, I know what you're goin through. I went through the same thing. I dated a girl for over two years and now one of my close friends is seein her. I don't like her in that way anymore (we broke up almost a year ago), but it still kinda sucks to have a 'friend' do that to you. And Marissa, that's too bad that your ex is reacting that way. It's not fair that he's not even listening to what you have to say. I'm gonna be honest, he doesn't seem like he is worth it if he continues to act this way. I mean, maybe he's just in a bad state right now, and a couple days from now, after things have cooled off, things may be ok. I really hope that it turns out that way at least because no girl deserves to be cussed out like that. Good luck to both of you and I hope things go ok
