and does the first one have any sense to it? i just looked at the answer it wasn't what i expected.

Someone told me that second last one (the legs one) the other day. They told me another one but I can't remember exactly how it goes..

This is gonna bug me now.

The answer is just what it is. The question is overly complicated with a few things that seem to make more sense than they really do. It's great, because everyone over analyzes it. Tell it to your friends, and let them stew over the answer for a while.

i was thinking it had to be one word from each of the five steps.

It was used in Oedipus Rex. Actually, it was before the play, but it is mentioned. It's the riddle told by the beast that is terrorizing the city of Thebes.

Riddles are great. They either make you feel really smart for getting them, or really stupid for not getting them.

i'm so proud that i'm not a total shithead.

I got none of them... possibly because I was too lazy to think and just highlighted them immediately after reading them. Though, I probably wouldn't have gotten them anyway... I've never been one to think "outside the box".

Let's see if I can think of some...

Okay you throw away the outside, cook the inside, eat the outside, and throw away the inside. What is it?

And of the other ones I only missed a couple because I've heard those before.
