Riddle me this, riddle me that. Let's get our riddle on...

Post your riddle, and the answer in black afterwards.
If you have any pride at all, you'll try to answer it before looking.

King Khazol's kingdom is long gone.
Take five steps to the site of his grave:
The first means to think over,
The second is over your thoughts,
The third means one of something,
The last must be stronger than anything,
The whole reveals everything.
Now tell me, why did King Khazol's subjects bury him in a copper coffin?

Answer: Because he was dead.

The answer is just what it is. The question is overly complicated with a few things that seem to make more sense than they really do. It's great, because everyone over analyzes it. Tell it to your friends, and let them stew over the answer for a while.

What were you thinking?

It was used in Oedipus Rex. Actually, it was before the play, but it is mentioned. It's the riddle told by the beast that is terrorizing the city of Thebes.

Riddles are great. They either make you feel really smart for getting them, or really stupid for not getting them.

hehe...

I got none of them... possibly because I was too lazy to think and just highlighted them immediately after reading them. Though, I probably wouldn't have gotten them anyway... I've never been one to think "outside the box".

Let's see if I can think of some...

Okay you throw away the outside, cook the inside, eat the outside, and throw away the inside. What is it?

And of the other ones I only missed a couple because I've heard those before.

Two legs sits on three legs, with one leg in his lap. Four legs comes in and steals one leg from two legs. Two legs throws three legs at four legs to get one leg back. What's going on?
