Microsoft word help!!!!

ahhhhhh
i typed *** and it made a starred line, and i thought that was pretty cool.
now, it keeps on making these lines and i don't want them!!! how do i make them go away?!?!!? does anybody know?

I've seen that before. IT's a tool. It like makes everything into paragraph form. the P things at the end and begining of the lines. I can't remember how to turn it off, but it's in Tools I think.
As for the ** lines. Could it be some option when you make charts or something? I dunno.. just making suggestions. *shrug*

Bethany! What did u doooooooooooooo! From the looks of it though, you can probably change it to a different view to make it normal.

for the starry lines or whatever, when you type in *** and then press enter, it should insert a starry line by itself. all you have to do is click undo in "edit" and you should get your original stars
for the lines that are already there, you have to click around the lines and then click borders in "format", i think, and then remove the border that it should say is already there

Bethany, that's the AutoCorrect feature... to turn it off, go into your "Tools" menu, then select the "AutoFormat As You Type" tab in that menu. Then uncheck "Borders" under "Apply as you type". That should solve your pesky little *** problem.

oh yeah i know i turned him on when i had the problems, usually he is not there
