my msn hasnt been working for a week now. If someone tries to sign in, it says that you have the wrong password or sign-in name, even though that same password will work on someone else's computer.

I finally gave up on it, and my brother downloaded trillian. He added one person to his 'msn' list, then left. I came on and tried to sign in as my msn, but I guess it didnt work. My list didnt come up, and I could still see his one offline contact.

Could someone who uses trillian (the only person i know who does is jillian) please try to explain to me how the different lists work, and how to sign in as a different user? Does it just make one list for the whole computer and you have to add every person that used to be on your list? How do I sign off his and sign on mine? Bah, maybe it's really obvious and I'm just fucked up in the head, who knows.

hmmm, okay, i managed to sign in for yahoo and aim, it brought in all my contacts, but it just didnt do anything for msn, and i dont seem to be able to sign in. damn

Try to find a download of Trillian 2.0. I had to have a friend send it to me because 1.0 is denied by M$'s MSN servers.

Did you paste it into c:\Program Files\Trillian?
Then double click and it and click the "Crack" button?

I hate Trillian. With passion. But I know how to work it. You should be able to sign into multiple msn accounts at the same time.

And Susan, no, i just clicked on the 'crack' button without doing anything else. I'll try again.

Okay, the crack worked, but as soon as I get onto Trillian I get this message:

Trillian has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

The one time I did get on, it said that msn was 'partically connected'. It showed if any had any new messages in my email accounts, but it didn't show my list.

*sigh* I guess I give up. There must be something really wrong with my computer. Thanks alot for trying Susan

Just get the version from the trillian website.
