i know i've brought it up before but it was a long time time ago, is there any other Navarro fans here? Come on people dave is probably one of our generations BEST guitarists.

-Filling Johns shoes when he left teh chili peppers
-Writing poetry and novels
-Starting a solo Career
-Play all instruments other then drums and producing and mixing his album.

-Painter/Sculpter
-Played for.....Christina, Michelle Branch, Mary J, P.Diddy, Manson, Jamarquai, Madona, plus hundreds more he's the most popular hire out guitarist.
-GOT ASKED TO REPLACE SLASH IN GnR...............AND TURNED THE FUCKER DOWN.
-small acting career

there's more but quite frankly he's achieved more then pretty well ANYONE in hollywood. He's an AMAZING guitarist and artist all around, and the guy can actually sing half-decent as well, his solo album is pretty damn good, his voice isn't amazing but it gets the job done making a rock solid solo album.............oh yeah and Janes is back together!

But seriously i would have expected more people to like him here..........he is a pretty well known guy after all, and i thought there would at least be a few Pepper Fans and the odd Janes fan that knew him

yeah his lyrics arn't spectacular, and his voice isn't exactlly up to Perry Ferrels standard, but it's a pretty solid album, and you can't deny his career

that they should, or at least some respect, he's easily one of the best guitarists of our century it's not even debated by any guitar folks. add that to the rest of his above listed talents

I him. I'm a fan of Jane's Addiction, and I love his style of guitar. Being a guitarist myself, I kinda look up to him as a role model. But I think Steve mazur still stands as my #1 role model

yeah from what i've seen steve's pretty god but it's hard to tell from what we've seen. We need to see the next record performed live to make a judgement

well dave is cooler then Tommy and carmen is less of a dirty tramp then Pam so i'm seeing good things in their future....although dave has already been divorced once
