I'm going to hear the new album on Thursday!
There's an 'A Crow Left Of The Murder' listening event in Amsterdam then and I won tickets. I almost deleted the invitation because it was in my Junk Mail folder, but I noticed it just in time. Phew.

Several days ago I heard the title of their first single (off the new album) but it escapes me right now.

So, I heard the new album yesterday. It's pretty hard to get a good impression of a cd after just hearing it once, but it sounded pretty good. Harder than Morning View, bit more like Make Yourself but more 'standard' rock. Not quite as melodic, but still lots of transitions in tempo and other typical Incubus-things. One of the songs apparantly had the same riff as Lenny Kravitz' Mr. Cab Driver according to my friends, I don't know that song. The new base player is really good. I was pretty disappointed when Dirk Lance left, because I thought he was awesome, but they've found a good replacement. Brandon's voice isn't quite up that what it could be like, he's forcing it a little bit, but I also even heard a falsetto :)

Definitely worth buying when it comes out, which is in February. Record companies keep amazing me, the album is already finished and we still have to wait two months  You would think they could sell a lot in this Christmas-period, but well...

Megalomaniac is going to be the first single. It should be out sometime around December 15th. The live version is awesome and i can't wait to hear how the studio version sounds. I'm so excited for this album. I can't believe i have to wait 2 months.
Is anybody getting Brandon's book "White Fluffy Clouds"? i'm *hopefully* getting it for christmas.
