A girl from my school got killed today. She got hit by a school bus as it was leaving the parking lot. There's a newsclip on the site that shows the report from right outside my high school.
Her name is Jesica Green... I saw this girl every single morning for the past three years that I've been attending this school. I feel so sick... what an awful day... there were hysterical people everywhere because so many people saw the accident.. apparently it was horrendously gruesome

The news got around really fast. It was at my school, which is about 1 km west on the same road, by second period.
Such a tragic thing...

A couple of girls at my school got killed in a car crash (drunk driving!) over the summer. One of them I knew cause she had been in my classes and I HATED her cause she was a bitch, but...I'll never hear her obnoxious laugh again, and THAT'S depressing.
*hugs Alex* I can commiserate.

Me too
The exit is covered in flowers and signs and candles, and the ENTIRE sidewalk, the length of the school and beyond, is completely obscured by spray-painted messages. It is so depressing

but i feel for the bus driver too
she/he must be in total shock
and she/he has to live with the fact that she/he killed somebody

Oh lord, that would be as bad as losing someone you love. I would rather be dead than know I killed someone.
There was this little boy, about four miles down the road from me. I drove my little sister to dance, and when I came home, they were taking this little boy to the hospital. He was six and was riding his bike to a friends and swerved too far out into the road. The lady was going below the speed limit and hit him and killed him. I heard she's had alot of problems since then. It is so terrible. They have a cross there now, and everytime it's his birthday or Christmas it has balloons on it

In grade 8, our friend Hannah was killed by an elderly driver in the parking lot of the Zellers in the mall across from my house.
The woman didn't even have a license. It was suspended for another offence.
That's pretty sad, but what's sadder is that our friend is dead.

how can people be that careless. i guess i know better because i have three youger siblings and i live in a neighborhood where there are a lot of children, but when you see a kid playing ANYWHERE near the road, you should be going slow enough to stop instantly. period.

Ugh, "Campus Carnage"?! What the hell is wrong with the media?
They were here again today filming the crying students and when a couple people stepped in front of the camera because they didn't want to make such a private thing all public, the news station called the school and said that the kids had ATTACKED them! Fuck OFF!

Awww, that's terrible. They are so pushy.
It's easy to be really careful, but that one moment when you aren't paying attention....
