Sadly this morning around 2a.m. Johnny Cash died from a pancreas infection or something like that in a hospital.

Also last night around 10 the star of Three's Company and 8 Simple Rules for dating my Teenage Daughter, John Ritter, had died from a dissection of his aorta.

These people have influenced me and some other people in ways that can't be described. As a memorial please play Sell my Soul, or Johnny's cover of "Hurt"

I honestly can't say I'm surprised about Cash. It's sad, yes, but he was quite old.

But John Ritter? He was awesome! :(

Was Ritter in surgery or something?

No, he collapsed during the filming of his tv show. So weird and sad. :(

I was shocked when I awoke to Fox News talking about the both of them........it is quite sad, for both of them.

Old or not......Johnny was still making music all the way until today, and now he has passed.

I have to admit, after all his health problems I was not very surprised to hear the news about Johnny Cash. He will be missed.

I was in absolute shock when I heard about John Ritter. He was only 54.

 RIP

I can't believe it. This is a horrible day. At least Johnny Cash can be with his wife again....

But John Ritter, I can't believe it. He can't be dead. I still watch Three's Company to this day. I refuse to believe he's dead.

I just really got into Cash's music in the past 6 months or so after hearing his cover of "Hurt" and I got not only the new album, but a few live albums from a whie back. I was just reading an article on the net and they were taking about how Cash exposed so many people to country music who otherwise would have never given it much of a listen. He was definatly a legend who will not soon be forgotten.

Although I was not a huge fan, it's very sad about John Ritter as well. He was so young. My dad was about his age when he passed away.

:(

It seems like a lot of celebrities have died this year. Katharine Hepburn, Gregory Peck, David Brinkley, Buddy Ebsen, Buddy Hackett, Charles Bronson, Warren Zevon, Mr Rogers, and now these two. At least most of them lived long lives. :(
