What song describes your day the best and why?
My song of today is Summer's Gone by Feeder. Because summer is over, I'm back at school and I just found out Feeder will be playing near me in November
Besides, I just bought the album it's on last week, so I've been listening to it a lot.

White America - just because right now I feel that the U.S. is so unGODly stereotypical, that its flat out rediculous.
If i didn't know that this song could kill a political campaign, I'd use it.

The Good Life - I am an Island
Mostly, I sleep it off.
It's easier in the morning to
shrug off the evening's drunken,
pathetic pleas. 'Cause the night's
tragic rambling is the next
day's apology. So if you can sit tight
'till the sun hits the blinds
we can settle everything.
Turning on a dime...I just can't
trust my instincts. One day my
heart beats with passion, the next
it waxes black. If I seem a
little callous, I assure you it's
just a scratch. So if you can
hold on 'till the mood swings are
gone then we might just have a chance.
Baby I quit, I just can't fake
it anymore. I'm a cold, jaded,
selfish, abusive, dysfunctional
fuck up. I'm needing to be rescued,
I'm stranded on myself. And I can't
escape from this island I've made-
I"m afraid I never will.
because that song describe me extremely well.

On second thought, MGB's Carmelina.
Hey! Hey! Carmelina!
Target practice is for Mexico!
I've become spectacular!
Which is strange!
'Cause I feel dumb!
Because it makes no sense, just like me!

Right now, at this moment, Matt Good's "Near Fantastica" (I think it was that song?), simply because of the one line: "...it's been alright...".
School's just started, and I'm writing this this on my 2-class spare. My schedule's fucked up, but I'm getting out of a hell of a lot of classes. So far, I've only gone to one class. It's been alright. Whatever.

Popped my brand new Hot Rod Circuit cd into my comp and it played The Pharmacist, which eerily enough explained my mood exactly.
Everyone makes mistakes
You let me down
For the last time
Truth prevails
And there's nothin you can hide
And I wash my hands of you
Getting on with my life
Fuck yeah.
