how many people in here smoke?

how many of you don't smoke it for the reason that its "illegal"?

I don't because i have no desire too.

I've smoked it a couple of times. However, I'm not going to be one of those people that smokes it everyday. I only smoke when I get it for free, which is rare.

I've done it before .. had some good experiences with it .. then some bad experiences with it. The whole "illegal" thing doesn't bother me .. didn't they make it sort of legal in Canada .. there was huge articles in the paper about it. I think you're allowed to carry a certain amount on you no?

My friend has a garden of it growing in his closet with all these special lamps

the whole point of this thread is that im gonna prove to you that its illegal because it is harmful to the government.

i think the resident anti-govt people will support me whether or not they smoke.

but that will be in a lil while i gotta take a shower and go buy some smokes

Nope, I have never smoked and I have no desire too try it. I could care less if people smoke it. hell, my best friend is a pot head

I've never smoked it, and not because it's illegal, since it (basically) is legal here.

I never tried it, but I absolutely hate when people do. I just lose respect for them because of it. I was thinking of trying it just to get over my anger related to it and to try to understand why people do it, but I realized I'm afraid I'll like it and I kind of pride myself on being one of the select few who don't use it.

alot of people have a very wrong view on weed because the media (heavily influenced by the govt.) have portrayed it as very evil.

explain to me how me being a pothead makes me stupid

and give me good reasons

simple, it kills your brain cells and your lungs at the same time.

actually, it doesn't kill your brain cells.

and yea it messes up your lungs, but unlike brain cells, lung cells can regenerate.

its illegal because the govt know it opens people's minds up to new thoughts such as "why am i following orders from people i never see?"

they know it would make people less controllable, therefore they made it illegal.

weed cant kill you in one sitting, unlike alcohol which can. alcohol is 10x worse for you than weed... yet its legal. u know why? cause it doesn't open up that other 90% of your brain that the govt doesn't want u to use.

the govt would make mad money if the legalized weed, from taxes and such. but they wont. that is why its illegal.

never tried it. i couldn't care less that its "illegal" but its immorial IMO. and it can kill you.

smoking weed won't kill you

I always saw the act of smoking as more of a way to sufficate yourself. It reminds of how people die of smoke inhalation in fires. Not at all appealing to me...

smoking a joint is like smoking 10 cigarettes at once, it will give you cancer if you do it enough...smoking it once a month may not but if you do it a lot chances are you will wind up with lung cancer. i have done it a few times but never really got much out of it.

Oh please. Can you really trick yourself into believeing that? The main reason it's illegal is because of its health risks. I read somewhere that smoking weed is as bad as smoking 7 cigarettes or something.

Another thing: Why do you think that smoking weed heightens your intelligence? Anyone who hasn't smoked up probably also thinks that it's strange that they are being controlled by people they've never met or seen (the government).

I'm really sick of people who are potheads thinking that their "drug of choice" is best. What about people who smoke cigarettes? Do you hear them saying cigarette smoking is healthy and acceptable? No, because most cigarette smokers want to quit because there are health risks involved. Weed may be more organic than cigarettes, but who cares? Pure sodium is from nature. Would you want to smoke that? Not unless you felt like exploding.
