They are absolutely horrid. Worst part of my night when I saw Reel Big Fish, by far.

At least The Matches were good. That ass clown needed to lose the mohawk though.

he looked good.
i was impressed by the matches. stage presence was 110%. although i think their lyrics might be a little less than good, but i'm not completely sure. i need to listen to their mp3s. it was cool. the singer from the matches was outside the venue in the parking lot singing acoustic songs. that's how you build a fanbase, not like wakefield's prepurchased fanbase.

Exactly. When Wakefield was playing, the singer from The Matches chilled out by me and spoke to me and anyone else that wanted to talk to him. That's a really nice guy right there. I doubt too many people will remember who they are though, even though they were fun to watch. Most of the people there were already drunk and waiting for Zebrahead.

Ya know, I was scared that when you made this thread that you were going to like the band or something. I figured you got emasculated somewhere along the line and I feared for your respectability.

don't get me wrong, i've liked my share of pop punk in my day, but this is crossing the line.

I can agree Wakefield are crap now. But a year ago, I saw them in NJ at Skate & Surf '02. And they were pretty awesome.

i went to buy tickets for the early november at the venue by me and two girls were there at 12pm for a 7pm show for this band and a bunch of local bands. There wasnt a person in the venue not even someone to sell me tickets and they were there. I asked them who was playing and I wasnt sure who they are until I read this but now I feel bad for those people. Not only did they see this crappy band but also the worst local band ever, Band Camp, who were on Nickeloden as video of the week.
