a tip from a girl:

you are BOTH going to be super-nervous, so trying to act smooth really isnt going to help. just try and have a fun time, and both of you will be relaxed in no time :)

^ I don't know about both parties being super nervous, but my words of advice that I can offer is:

BE YOURSELF

I know it's difficult, but don't turn into a different person just because you are going out on a date. Do all the typical first date stuff (opening doors, paying for the meal/movie/whatever), but don't turn into someone different by taking other people's advice. Just be you. The only other word of advice I can offer is if you want a second date, make a move of some kind (holding hands in the theater for example).

Ya, i agree, just be yourself. And if you really think things are going well, and you want to kiss her, I always think its cute when a guy asks "Would it be ok if I kissed you" or something like that....

bring a couple of boxes of condoms and halfway through the date bust em out and ask her which ones she would prefer.

I have issues with that line...
so maybe you don't want to ask her

do what you think is right.

If you want to kiss her, here's what you do.

Let's say you're watching a movie or whatever. She's paying attention to the movie and everything, then you just randomly go in and kiss her on the cheek. She'll turn to you, think it's the sweetest thing ever (if she likes you), and then you go for the kiss on the lips, and you'll have a good chance to make out with her. Unless she rejects you. Then you're screwed.

My only advice is to be yourself.

It works.

Don't say you want to kiss her...that turns me off. But hey...I could just be odd.

Try to be witty, I love a funny guy. But don't ever do it either, the class clown is annoying as hell. Personally, I like guys who have passion about something, so you could talk about music and concerts. Just as long as you're not silent and don't overdo anything, then you're good. And if you want her to know you like her in any way, well then, you gotta give her something to go on. A kiss on the cheek, asking if you can go out again, holding hands...something to that effect.

You're going to be so bombarded w/ stuff to think about when do actually go on this date :lol

if you want to know what not to do watch Full House, both Stephanie and Dj's first dates are perfect examples

I think saying this is a necessity. The greatest band ever is Jessie and the Rippers. I have 500 of their tapes underneath some loose floorboards in my living room under the couch.
