A Stupid U.S./Canada Border Question

Do you have to have a passport to go from the U.S. to Canada? And if not, do you have to have one to spend the night?

You see, me and some pals are planning on taking a road trip (we're in Alabama) all the way up to Canada.

Does anyone know?

you need a birth certificate, plus picture ID as of recently. not a passport though.

Not toally sure yet; but I think we're planning on hitting Toronto, plus Niagra Falls. Any recommendations for cool places to hit up in Toronto?

That seems so long ago. When we were young and happy.

you see thats misleading because for me young and happy means the time when i could piss myself and have someone else change me...thats service

I crossed into Canada last summer while in Buffalo for a wedding and all I needed was my photo id.........plus I showed them my college id to be "safe".

Of course you'd probably be smart bringing whatever ya got, now. Customs probably has a foot up their ass.
