ok, everyone...
every single person on this board needs to download and check out at least one song by the band Feeder because they are a brilliant/amazing/fantastic band that gets absolutely no press here in the states, and i would imagine canada either. they haven't released an album in the states since like 97 (Polythene), which was great, and luckily i managed to pick up the remainder of their albums (Swim, Yesterday Went to Soon, Echo Park, and Comfort in Sound) when i went to England last summer and last xmas.

i did see, however, happen to see their video for 'come back around' on oven fresh the other day, which gives me hope...and theyre doing a small club tour in the states with Rooney over the next month (June 10 in Austin...sweetness). i was thinking i'd never get to see them live, too, especially after going to England during spring break this year and arriving the night of their 2nd of 2 shows in London, and missing it. anyways, check out some of their stuff, and if theyre coming to your town go out and check them out...i dont know how they couldnt be awesome live...

anyways, here's some suggestions:
Seven Days in the Sun
Just a Day
High
Tell All Your Friends
Find the Colour
Waiting for Changes
We Can't Rewind
My Perfect Day
Come Back Around
Buck Rogers
Radioman
Paperface
Satellite News
Insmonia
Piece by Piece
Forget About Tomorrow
Anaesthetic

and so many more...just get a couple, at least...if youre going to get only one..then try Seven Days in the Sun

just a day is one of those that definitely took me a while to get used to...but over time it grew to be one of my favorites...try some of the others, if that's the only one you got...
seven days in the sun is what i usually recommend to people if they only want to get one song...that's my prolly my favorite of theirs...
and also give the songs an extra listen or two...at least fromy my experiences, some of the songs took a few listens before i really appreciated them

Yea, I'm by no means a Feeder-expert, but the few songs I'm familiar with got better after a few listens.

'High' is a great song. Actually all Feeder songs are good. Haven't seen them live yet though. They're playing at Lowlands Festival in Holland this year, alongside some other great bands (Turin Brakes, White Stripes, AFI), but I'm afraid I won't be able to make it this year. Lack of time and funds.

Feeder are one of my favourite bands.

Swim is one of my favourites, and Quickfade - which nearly made me cry when they played it accoustically when I saw them in March. It's such a gorgeous song. I like Just A Day lots and lots - but I don't know whether that's partly because it signified that they were carrying on after Jon's death, so it reminds me a bit of that and stuff. I'm not sure.

Yes, you should download lots and lots of songs then go and see them because they're in America at the moment. :D
