So whos listened to this album yet? I really like it, hes improved at song writing a lot since his first cd. Me vs Madonna vs Elvis is my favorite song so far, but a bunch are close to it. It feels like a much darker cd too, and Play The Crack Sky reminds me of a Bright Eyes song for some reason. What do you that have heard it think about it?

Its on Mirc in the Alt Rock channel. It is too bad it got leaked this early, but mp3s are the reason I got into this band and bought their first cd.

I think i'm waiting till it comes out to listen to it. All i've heard is two new ones they played live. both sounded really good.
And i hope you're right that the songwriting has improved, that was the biggest weakness of YFW.

Album is out and I have no clue what I think about it. It is by no means Your Favorite Weapon Part II not one song sounds anything similar to that CD. Jesse's voice is changed on this one and he gave up on the whole screaming like TBS thing. I dont even classify this cd as punk really. It is just very different and I think it is a big step from YFW and if they wanted to be famous they could have made Jude Law Part II but they didnt and that shows that they dont care what happens as long as they make the music they want.
Last night on the radio they had an interview with them and they said "This album is about growing up in Levittown..sitting in parking lots, drag racing on Hempstead Tpke. and hanging out at Chilis" I find this funny b/c I pretty much live in Levittown and always go to that Chilis. They were funny and said that they knew how they wanted this record wanted to be ever since YFW was released.
d/l
1) The Quiet THings No One Every Knows
2) The Boy Who Blocked his own shot
3) Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades
what the hell is with the titles on this cd my favorite is "Jaws theme swimming" they make no sense.
