They will be performing a live concert in New York and will be broadcasted via satellite to 17 Famous Players Movie theatres across Canada. Holy crap.
When I heard this I was in shock.
The tickets are hella cheap (15$) and I have a friend buying them today when they go on sale.
If interested, go here www.famousplayers.com
look for the radiohead link.
Now, comment.

i dunno
now I'm not really a radiohead fan
but this is just my opinion
so don't kill me
i think it's kinda strange to pay 15 dollars to see a concert on a movie screen
i mean, it's not like you're there
*shrugs*
but if radiohead never plays canada
still
it's strange

I agree. I guess for $15 it would still be fun (for those that like Radiohead anyway).

Even better:
www.ateaseweb.com wrote:Rumour has it that House of Blues concerts are planning a 2 day festival at the Thunderbird Stadium in Vancouver, Canada. Radiohead are to headline the festival, playing last on August 31, while REM are to headline the night before. While nothing is confirmed, if the festival planning does not bear fruit, Radiohead are to play Vancouver on August 31 regardless. [thanks Paul]
If this is true, perhaps I will go.

That sounds a bit too similar to Glastonbury.. REM headlining one night and Radiohead headlining the next.. I don't believe that they will be playing any such festival there....
