Those are some good stats for a $100 cam!
I'd probably pay more just to get more megapixels and better zoom, though.

my parents bought a digital video camera a couple of months ago, but it didn't come with software to upload the video/pictures onto the computer. so, when i have time, i'm going to go to best buy and spend my gift certificates on the software.

When I went to walmart to get the camera they were all out and the closest place to buy the camera was in Halifax MA 1 hour away.

you can get it online for like..$286. but it only comes with an 8MB card, and one rechargable battery, so I upgraded to a 128 MB card, so i can bootleg OLP concerts(
), as well as got a soft case for it, and an extra battery, so it ran me a cool $400. You can look up the stats on it. It's 2 MegaPixels 3x optical zoom, records and plays back 30 clips of video, blah blah lots of stuff. It's a Canon PowerShot Digital ELPH S330. I think the best thing about it is that it's made of metal, so not even I can destroy it...
