sweet!

anyway, maybe you can help me. I'm making something that I want words to me on, and I was wondering if there's something in the program that will automatically outline the words or give them a border, that kind of thing. any ideas?

I use PSP7, but is there a Stroke option available when you're working with text? It'll put a coloured outline around text.

Where is that? I just tried using my PSP7 again and I guess it works for a couple more days.

Well, you found a newer version, but I can tell you how to do an outline using PSP 5. I've also been meaning to upgrade, but to tell you the truth, I like how 5 works better than the newer versions.

Anyway, in case you ever feel like doing this, all you have to do is type whatever it is you wanna type, don't de-select the text, then go to: "Selections --> Modify --> Expand", and you can choose 1 pixel or 2 or however thick you wanna have the outline be. Then whatever color you want the outline to be, choose as the second color, and hit delete. Then use the font tool again and place the text right in the center of the deleted area. Voila, outline! (It sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is.)

As you can tell, I use this program a lot.
