How awesome is that??? The girl has been missing for something like, 9 months, and they found her alive today. A guy by the name of Brian David Mitchell, known to many as "Emanuelle", was the one authorities found her with today.
Kinda weird.....just lately the family brought his name to the surface, because he worked on the Smart home quite some time ago. Then, Liz's younger sister made a point of saying something to the family that this sketch they drew of this guy some time ago.....looked similar to the guy that took Elizabeth.

Now they found them.....kick ass! I'm hoping Fox News will show the family reunion b/c thats amazing.

I cannot believe it. From the moment I heard about it back in June, I had no hope. I was sure they were going to find her body, raped, mutilated, by the side of the road somewhere. I am just so happy for the family, and I can't imagine what the girl's been through for 9 months. Hopefully they'll get her into counselling and she'll be okay. It's just so refreshing to hear GOOD news these days.

Wow that's an awesome news. I watched CNN and I was very happy that she's still alive. There will be a Press conference in few minutes. Some people beleive that Liz wasn't kidnapped, but that this thing was all set-up. I doubt that, but we will know the truth at 7pm. Anyways, Im glad that this little girl is still alive and seems to be OK.

The weirdest part is that she was up in the mountains above her house for so long. It's so amazing she's alive. I don't think I'm gonna hear the end of it for a very long time, though... cos it's a local story for me. I don't really mind, though, it's so nice that something good actually happened in the world, for once.

Not to put a damper on anything, because I can't imagine how overjoyed her father feels, but he seems kinda "odd" to me. Perhaps its just me, but I feel something weird about that guy.

Ya's all hear the latest questions they have??? Even after the Sandy, Utah police showed up, and asked her if she was Elizabeth Smart, she kept denying it. She kept saying "my name is Augustine" and wouldn't give in.
Finally, after asking her repeatedly she said something religious in sounding, I can't recall what she said, but it was so odd that even the officers helping her didn't know for sure.

Sandy police are now curious of the "motive".....if it was a complete kidnapping, now they are going to have a heck of a time proving that Mitchell did nothing but brainwash the poor girl....

Another (perhaps) weird thing, but I'm looking forward to seeing an interview where she'll actually be willing to talk a bit, herself, about things.

Yes! I noticed that too! I was watching the Jon Walsh show yesterday when he was being interviewed and he did seem odd, something wasn't right.

noooo.....not really. I'm not saying that he's involved, but he does seem rather sketchy, I really can't pinpoint WHAT it is.

Reason I have no clue is b/c I could be completely jumping to conclusions just b/c the guy has to be feeling sooooo overwhelmed right now. The fact that Elizabeth was found, yet alone ALIVE, I........I don't think I would even know where to begin if I was him.

I'm sure he has sooo much he wants to say to Elizabeth but at the same time he's watching over her own well being.

But I can't help but take notice to the questions. Why the heck would she continue to lie and say her name is Augustine???? I know, most would say she was just scared.....yes, I totally believe that. But it seems like there is something MORE to that.

The oddness is just how some people are in Utah, ignore that. Talking about Ed Smart there. But yeah this is one bizarre case, and it could of ended several times during the summer when she was kidnapped. They must have brainwashed her beyond belief.

this whole thing is really bizzare, the father looks wired. who hires a complete stranger off the street to do handy work?

the guy who kidnapped this kid had a nickname "emmanule" (SP). and someone said there was a scripture in the bible that said something like and the virgin will bare a child named Emmanule. Damn religous freaks.
