Taking pictures at OLP concerts

Sorry, I need to rant. Something's been bugging me...

I was browsing Rich and Shelley's Our Lady Peace fansite today, when I saw these pictures taken by Tony at the Calgary concert on January 27th.

That last picture of Raine giving him the finger really annoyed me. I'd be really embarrassed if I was in that guy's shoes. It looks like he used a flash too. Nice one, Tony. I'm sure that really impressed Raine.

Why the hell would someone bring a camera to a concert anyways when the ticket clearly states: "NO CAMERA/AUDIO/VIDEO". They have rules there for a reason.

Footage from the Calgary concert is going to be on their upcoming DVD, so why bother bringing the camera. Next time, leave the camera at home.

I bring cameras to all the OLP concerts i go to, even if it says not to...I like to capture the moment. OLP doesn't really seem to care. It all comes with being a star. I don't think they request no cameras, the venues do...I'm sure Raine is used to it by now. I have no problem with people taking pictures and like I said, I love doing it!

haha. you're so dumb.

it is (as jacqui said) the venues decision. when i saw olp in sept, the venue allowed cameras. i mean, olp has stace take photographs of the band, so it's not like the flash bothers them. they know fans are going to take pictures and they don't care.

and raine is not flipping off our dear tony in the last picture. if i had to guess, i'd say it is during oma when raine went into the crowd and sang the line "give them the finger"

and also, the edmonton concert is going to be on the dvd, not calgary.

please, next time, leave your stupidity outside the door.

word.

im pretty sure the main reason cameras arent allowed is because they dont want jackasses selling their photos on ebay

i don't normally use flash either..and it shows. i haven't had a problem until the last couple of concerts where olp didn't have much front lighting, so it was difficult to focus and see faces.

How can you not use flash? My pictures come out so bad on the digi when I dont use flash, unless its completely light out.

why is wrong with this guy? why the hell would you not want to bring a camera and take pictures to remember the concert?
i like that picture of Raine giving the finger :)
compliments to this "Tony" character.

and if you don't use flash, usually the pictures won't turn out. it happened in to me in London, when i went to see OLP. never again will i buy a camera with no flash!
