there should be a thread for cool bands that not many ppl know about:

Black Lab :love: :mrgreen: delightfully depressing love songs

Ours- Talk about emotion and vocal range, make you wonder whether Jeff Buckley died or got a new name and bigger vocal range

Rubberman- pretty good indie band, kinda like three doors down or fuel.

Dave Navarro :drool: ( a bit more work on vocal variety and he would be perfect)

Ours = awesome.
But of course, when they came to Toronto in November, it just HAD to be a 19+ show... bah. Ah well, I got my Precious cd signed by Jimmy, so that helped ease the pain :)

here's another great and relatively unknown rock band:

THE MAYFIELD FOUR

For anyone whose into Jeff Buckley & Ours... you'll almost definitely like this band... the singer has a one of a kind voice with a similar falsetto to Buckley & Gnecco.

I still need to pick up their 2 CD's that are currently out, but here are some songs I've downloaded so far that I find myself listening to constantly:

-Suckerpunch
-Mars Hotel
-Sick and Wrong
-Eden
-Don't Walk Away
-Loose Cannon
-Forfeit

oh... another band that I've been really diggin' is PALO ALTO... however, I've only downloaded one song called "Fade in, Fade out" (I think it was released on the DareDevil soundtrack)... but it kicks large arse, so I'm keeping my eye out for this band.
