I just bought this CD, it is absolutely amazing. You might have trouble finding it because it's an independent label, but HMV had (for just $10.99 too). everyone should buy it. it has been said of the music that they will be the most important thing to come out of britain since oasis, and I completely agree.

^I'll give you a tip for that . . . if you just type in "the music" into something like Kazaa, you'll get every file that has the word music in it . . . so some specific songs to check out are . . . the dance, take the long road and walk it, human, the truth is no words, float, the people, too high . . . and there are others but I can't remember any right now.

yeah, that's a damn good deal . . . even though there's only ten songs on the CD, they are all very long so the whole thing's is about 55mins long.

I love "Take the long road and walk it".

I've been singing the little skat-ish thing that he does in there.

I also saw part of them on Much on Demand. They have SO much energy on stage!

I'm listening to the album on their site right now.

I'm going to buy this when I get back from March break...

Turn Out the Light is amazing.

I just saw this band open for Coldplay and HATED it. I guess I'm not open minded enough. It was too psychodelic and trippy, and the dude humped the microphone stand HARDCORE. I dunno, it was just him mumbling noncoherent phrases and waving his arms around with strobe lights in the background. Did not float my boat, sorry guys...

I can definately see how it's not for everyone. It's definately not conventional.

That's actually partly why I like it. There's so much focus on the music and sounds.

i dunno what the big deal is about them. it's just another "the" band. it just sounds more like something from the 80's instead of the 70's.

a few comments, however.

1. they're definately not on an independant label. i just heard their single on the bear. [ top 40 rock radio station ]
2. i don't know if they can be called the best thing to come out of britian since oasis, because badly drawn boy is from britain and he's one of the most relevant artists in music today.
