the movie industry is far from stupid. I voted "evil" because they are evil geniuses who know how to suck truly stupid people dry.

You also forgot Lord Of The Rings

Lord of the Rings NEEDS a sequel though, so that doesn't count. You got all these other movies that don't really need sequels.
It should be a law that you can't make sequels. More often than not, the first movies is better than the sequel.

Oh god. I can't stand Disney sequels, even the movies they actually release in theatres nowadays are losing the Disney Flavour. Man, Disney has made more famous writers roll in their graves than than..
Anyway's here's a list of Disney sequels (like before notify me if I'm missing anything):
Aladdin:Return of Jafar
Aladdin and the King of the Thieves
The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea
The Lion King II: Simba's Pride (more like disgrace..)
The Hunchback of Notre Dame II (geez laweez, in the original story the hunchback DIED in the end, in this film he's falling in love)
Cinderalla II : What Dreams May Come
Lady and the Tramp II
102 Dalmations
Winnie the Pooh -The Search for Christopher Robin
ARGGH!! makes me so MADD!! What the hell's next?

Yeah, the last Land Before Time I saw at Blockbuster's was like number 5. Their like really crappy TV shows extended to cover over an hour.

Why did Disney feel the need to make sequels to traditional, time-honoured fairy tales?
Cinderella II? Didn't it end happily ever after the first time around?

LOL, no kiddin.
Did Land Before Time really need 37236728975902379 sequels? **exaggerated, but, whatever**
