I did both. I actually took it in to the guitar store where I bought it and had them check it and re-string it.

i think i have the nicest colour for guitars there is though... baltic blue

mine is blue too, if you look way back in i think cmers pics. its a metallic lightish mediumish blue. yeah. and it never goes out of tune. well, not never, but hardly at all.
