Woah! I haven't heard anyone talk about Kula Shaker for YEARS!! Oh man, I loved these guys. K is such a great album. You know they broke up, right? That made me so sad. I wanted to see them live really bad, but never got the opportunity.
Anyway, if you wanna get another one of their albums, there's only one other full length they ever released: "Peasants, Pigs & Astronauts". I have it, but you know... I don't know if I ever even listened to it. Hah! I think I'll do that tonight. I can't believe I never listened to this. Wow. Anyway, they also released the "Summer Sun E.P.", but from the title, you can see, it's an EP. Only 6 songs on it, and some of them are remakes of songs on K... I think. One song is, anyway.
Also, you know Crispian Mills (lead singer) was Haly Mills' (teacher on Saved By The Bell) son? Haha, just a quick fun fact.

Oop, sorry for the double post, but I figured I'd answer this.

Well, they're what would could be classified as Brit Pop... at least that's what me and my friend always referred to them as. They're a rock band from England. Some of their songs are sung in Sanskrit. Yeah, I'm not kidding. Actually, my favorite Kula Shaker song is "Govinda"... some lyrics to that song: "Govinda Jaya Jaya, Gopala Jaya Jaya Radha-ramanahari..." yeah... haha, no idea what they mean. But such a cool, trippy song.
Kula Shaker is really laid back trippy music with some really rockin' parts thrown in. You actually might remember some of their songs, they were fairly popular back in the mid to late nineties (their singles were, not the band... hah). You might either know "Tattva" or "Hey Dude" from their album K, or if not either of those, you probably have heard their cover of "Hush" by Deep Purple. They covered it for a movie soundtrack, but for the life of me I can't remember what movie. Great cover.
So, yeah, hope that helps a bit. If not, go download some of their stuff. Tis good.

Yeah, that cover really does rock. I agree. But their first album was really good, too (that'd be K).

Yeah... but Crispian's still going... he's a solo artist now. I haven't checked out any of his stuff, though, so it could be completely different. Dunno.
