Love at First Sight?

I would really like to believe in love at first sight right now. Or at least, the capability to feel an unearthly connection to someone you have barely spoken to.

I don't believe in love at first sight .. lust at first sight maybe, but not love .. you can feel a connection when first meeting someone but it's gonna be based on looks initially .. their looks will attract you but their personality is what's gonna make you fall in love and keep ya there

I don't really believe in "love at first sight"... but wouldn't it be cool if things were like the movies (like "Serendipity" and stuff LOL)?

I don't believe in love like that.
I love my animals, I love music, I love my car.
I'm never getting married because I know after a year or two I will be sick of them. Thats not fair.....I can't pretend like that. Call me cynical........call me realistic, I just don't like lying to myself.

no love in first sight. i hated my girlfriend when i first saw her. i wanted to kill her.
i've grown significantly less uh, i don't know, cynical since them.
but anyways, that's not the point. you can't love someone you don't know. love is not just about looks.

this topic makes me think of that dumb catchy kylie minogue song. yes, and i do believe there is love at first sight. theres this really hot sophomore that i don't even know but i'm in love with him.

This is true, to quote M*A*S*H, "Chivarly isn't dead, it has just been replaced by exhaustion." I don't believe in love at first site anymore, its a kind of fairytale i can't afford the luxury of believing in. Now after a conversation say, like love after a first date, okay, i'll buy that.
