I'm on yearbook so that it won't suck this year. In order to do that I need everyone's help with cool quotes. Quotes about life.....leaving, friends, all that sappy crap that goes in yearbooks. My advisor already said I could put quotes around the edges of pages I design.........so basically, I need a TON of good quotes by good bands so our whole yearbook doesn't fall into the Sarah McLaughlin black hole.
Examples-
Perspective pries your once weighty eyes and gives you wings.
I depend on you, for the wings of life and the air that you move.
Although I'm far, I'm close to you within. All the time spent by your side is taken deep in me (yeah, I messed that one up........but you get the idea)

Seinfeld understands life the best. And I'm not joking when I say that.
These are probably too long for what you are seeking, but still entertaining:
Friends are the DNA of society. They are the basic building blocks of life. If you have a couple of good ones, treasure them like gold. There's nothing better. Ever look at that MCI ad they have, 'Friends and Family'? Who do they mention first?
Life is truly a ride. We're all strapped in and no one can stop it. When the doctor slaps your behind, he's ripping your ticket and away you go. As you make each passage from youth to adulthood to maturity, sometimes you put your arms up and scream, sometimes you just hang on to that bar in front of you. But the ride is the thing. I think the most you can hope for at the end of life is that your hair's messed, you're out of breath and you didn't throw up.
According to most studies, people's number one fear is public speaking. Number two is death. Does that seem right? That means to the average person, if you have to go to a funeral, you're better off in the casket than doing the eulogy.
I always did well on the essay questions. Just put everything you know on there, maybe you'll hit it. And then you'd get the paper back from the teacher and she's written just one word across the page, 'vague'. I thought 'vague' was kind of a vague thing to say. I'd write underneath it, 'unclear', and send it back. She'd return it to me, 'ambiguous'. I'd send it back to her, 'cloudy'. We're still corresponding to this day. Hazy, muddy...

"Crafty men condemn studies, simple men admire them, and wise men use them. . ."
Francis Bacon - "Of Studies"
This one might be too long:
"A little learning is a dangerous thing;
Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring:
There shallow drafts intoxicate the brain,
And drinking largely sobers us again."
Alexander Pope
"Tis education forms the common mind:
Just as the twig is bent the tree's inclinded."
Alexander Pope
That's all I'm willing to look up.
