New Disturbed Single

Post by NunoFreak »

Have you heard the new single "Prayer" from Disturbed? I think it's the best song I have heard from them, and I have heard them since around 1999 before they hit it big (I lived in Chicago where they're from). Anyway, this new song is excellent, check it out...

i hate disturbed with a passion
"Sh*t, id be f*ckin' scared if us were opening for...us"
-Dave Grohl on why the Red Hot Chili Peppers only let the Foos play a 45 minute set when they toured together

"baby, i wish you were my baby,
ill make u make a baby,
let's make electric power,
in fear u should not cower,
cuz girl i will protect u,
i promise not to sex u,
and IiiiiIiiiiIiiiiiiIiiiiiIiiiiii...." - Dudez a Plenti

"all by myself
cause I don’t want to drag you down, hold you down
cause you’re a friend
i blame myself
i guess you think it’s funny now, funny now
it's such a shame..."
-Feeder - Just a Day

I am still awesome.........................................................................................seriously.

I said I had heard them since 1999 before they hit it big, because I wanted to state that I had been a fan of them for awhile, and this new song is their best song. Maybe I need to put this in Our Lady Peace speak for all your morons on here: I think _____________ is the best song I have heard from _____________. That's saying a lot, because I have been a fan of _________ since their inception (beginning). Can you grasp that and process it in your tiny brains?

Let it go man, it's just Gimme_Shelter...he has a smartass comment for everything. Yeah, it can get annoying after a while, but there's no need to fight.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

it wasnt just a smartass comment
i just believe its stupid how people feel they need to state how long they have been a fan for as if it makes them better then anyone else whos just started to like them

person 1 "oh i've been a fan of them since before you even heard of them"
person 2 "am i supposed to give a shit?"

First off you don’t need to be a sack of shit to everyone one here by saying things like "Maybe I need to put this in Our Lady Peace speak for all your morons on here" or, "Can you grasp that and process it in your tiny brains"

And also just because you have been a fan of them for awhile doesn’t mean you know more about them then someone else who may have only recently heard of them, maybe if you had used "your tiny little brain" you would have realized that that was my point.

Hey slapnuts, get your head out of your ass and try to pay attention.

If Person A has heard a band since their inception, then they probably have a lot more to reference to in regards to music, than say Person B, who has just recentlty heard of the band. So let's say Person A has all five of Our Lady Peace's albums and has been a fan of them since day one, doesn't his comment that "this is the best OLP song I have ever heard" have more substance than Person B (who just has "Gravity") saying the same thing?

Fine, you got me to argue about this, hooray! Now go find some less annoying signature GIF's gimme_shelter.

Nuno does have a good point but this has been blown way out of proportion .. I only know one song by Disturbed, I think it's called 'Sickness' or something like that but it's a kick ass tune.

I just find this entire thread hilarious. Now stop fighting you two, it's a waste of your time and anger. Save it for something good  ANYWAYS, my only contribution to this thread is that i don't really like disturbed, and really don't have much of an opinion on this topic. I just had to post because I thought this argument was really amusing, especially gravity's comment

Yeah, Nuno, really, you're not helping your point by yelling at people. Even if they desevere it.
