This shouldn't technically go into this section of the board, but I will save myself by saying that the music in "Signs" was excellent! The score was suspensful and really added to the drama of the film. As for the movie itself; it kicked balls. From beginning to end "Signs" was enjoyable and it really did give me chills at times. Put yourself in Mel Gibson's family's shoes, freaky deaky shit, yo!

sorry to spam your topic but I just wanted to say that I love Mel Gibson .. he's my favorite actor and considering he's like 46 (or something like that) he's so hot

Any movie Mel stars in is gonna be a good movie .. I haven't seen it yet but I heard it was scary ..

Good to hear it's good cause I'm DYING to see that movie. Hmm...if I leave the house now I can make it for the 4:00 showing....nah...anyways. I'm a big Joaquin Phoenix fan and Mel Gibson's cool so I'm really looking forward to it. I'm into that alien stuff too. When I first saw the previews months ago I was like, "that looks like it sucks" but they've grown on me to the point where I'm on edge about seeing the movie.

I just saw Signs...I thought it was kinna lame, but I did like the music.

In essence, the concept was great. I loved the concept.

But the movie was lame. The alien was kinna dumb looking, and some things left me a little confused.

I think that making a movie about crop circles is kinda cheesy being that we found out years ago that a bunch of guys made them by stepping on wood planks and used rope tied to a post to make perfect circles.

That was only one case. There have been hundreds or more cases of crop circles across the planet and the culprits have not come forward for all of them, leaving a veil of mystery shrouding the remaining. I don't know if I believe in crop circles, but I must admit that they are sometimes so intricate that they become a beautiful form of artwork. Whomever or whatever is responsible for them has some real talent. They should go commercial!

Apparently Mel used to live about 20 minutes away from me in Fonthill .. had this huge house on the hill. I never saw him though .. this was awhile ago though

There was this giant rumour that richard gere moved in down the road from me....and was on my mail route..but no one could ever prove it. people were spotting him everywhere though...he was like elvis for a while. pretty funny. shame of it was that it turned out he never lived here at all...it was someone else with the last name gere and people were just seeing things...those crackheads.

documentaries? they were ALL made the same way.

Ya never know .. it's just like believing in ghosts .. some people are convinced aliens did that .. ya just never know

i've seen that because i enjoy to watch educational progaming, actually thats all i watch, or maybe i saw a few moments of it flipping channels i dont remember

I would want to go see this movie, but I know I'd be sitting there saying "Oh my god! How stupid are you people?!? I know how they did it. Fuck, that's stupid. Oh my god, Mel's acting like such a pussy. "Oh no! Another crop circle! Ahhh!" Just set up cameras at each field that they might come to next. I mean, come on..." etc...

You'll be sorta suprised when you see it.

I love the lethal weapon movies ... they kick SO much ass

yes they do, i watched 2 of them just the othernight and i said "these kick SO much ass"

i thought signs was awesome. m night shyamalan is one of the best young directors out there. its pretty tough to beat a resume of Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and now Signs. all excellent movies. but yeah, the music did kick ass.
