The band not the drummer I only have the album called "The Man Who" but I can't get enough of it! I've listened to the song 'Driftwood' 4 times in a row now ..

Oh thank God this topic appeared. I LOVE Travis. They're like my third favorite band. Good Feeling is a really good album and it's dirt cheap. I got it for 9.99. It's their first one. I think I like their latest, The Invisible Band, second best, then The Man Who. Umm..I really like the song, The Last Train, I thin it's called #9 on The Invisible Band...geezum, actually I like all their music, but I SO recommend them. Of course, Brit Pop is apparently my style of music, at least that's what people say, even though OLP is my favorite and they're so not Brit Pop. Oh well. Yeah, Travis is awesome

Good Feeling is definately the bestest album. It's so happy (no pun intended...). I don't think The Invisible Band is anything too special though, it's too commercial...there's nothing to it - I think they were just trying to cash in...it sounds a lot like a whole album of "Why Does It Always Rain On Me?".

I love The Man Who, though. Last Train is brilliant, the lyrics "i'm gonna get a gun, gonna shoot everything, everyone, then I'll shoot it at you, coz its you that drove me to...." deserve some sort of award, lol. Wow...I haven't listened to that album in aaaaaaaaaaaaaaages.

i really like 'why does it...' and 'side'

This is kinda related...thought I should pass it on. The drummer, Neil, fell at a pool the other week, knocking himself unconscious and hurting his back. He fractured some disk or something. I don't know all they details. All I know is that they had to cancel a bunch of their European dates, and he had to get surgery.

"The Man Who" is a great album, especially Writing To Reach You and Blue Flashing Light (hidden track). They appear to have gone down the old commercial pop-rock route nowadays (i.e. sold out) but at least they get some proper music into the charts. I hope Neil recovers soon!

I'm a Travis fan. I even had to replace a copy of "The Man Who" from overuse. I only have their last two CDs, but I can listen to them both straight through without skipping a song.

Compare "Good Feeling" to "The Invisible Band" and I think the term is completely justified.

Just like "Naveed" and "Gravity"...

nah...i don't think they sold out. their style may have changed a bit, but i don't think they compromised their lyrical content or anything like that, although I'll admit that Good Feeling is by far my fav of their albums, I still really like The Invisible Band
