I think I know you from the CC...
Raine commented on your hair, saying it was a brighter purple than the last time he saw you, right?

Welcome Jennifer, nice to see you here. I won't be going to the Chicago show, but I'm going to the Minneapolis show, whose going with me. I wish I had money/equipment to bootleg it.

The Vic is on Belmont and Sheffield, right in the Belmont/Clark/Halsted area. From what I can tell it is an old theatre. I believe they will take the seats away from the front row and have seats towards the back. That is all I can tell you, I have never actually been inside.

i know this reply is so completely late considering the show is tomorrow night...
but i'll be there. and the vic doesn't have seats, if i remember correctly. i went there for a concert a very very long time ago and mainfloor was standing room only towards the stage. i think they had benches or bench-like-seating towards the back. and the upper level is seats. i'm pretty sure. but the venue is incredibly small and you'll have a good view from anywhere. that's happiness.
but if any of you are there, look for me. i'm filipino. i'll be wearing a black tank top and jeans and i'll be with a tall blonde girl and a tall brunette boy. the boy will have a chain around his neck that has his girlfriend's class ring on it.

Welcome to the CM Jenny.
You have to post a review of Chicago. I am expecting one from you.

as for the VIC. I just saw the COLDPLAY $2.00 MTV concert on TV from there. It was taped in early June. it had a balconly/ Mezzanine and the floor was standing room only.
It looked big to me. if anyone is from NYC, it is exactly like the Hammerstein Ballroom if that helps.
Anyone with an extra ticket?

Hey everyone. I hope you're as excited for the OLP Chicago show as I am. One problem...I don't have a ticket!
Yes, it's bad and I even almost purchased the tickets on the day of the presale. There was a miscommunication and my friend (at least for now) did not purchase the ticket for me thinking I had purchased one already. I didn't know this, left for a month, came back, and the show was sold out. Yes, very bad.
I'm going to try calling the box office, going down with my friends to the show to try and get in, maybe try a scalper. However, it's a fairly small venue and OLP fans are dedicated, so not expecting a lot of extra ticket activity.
Anyone have any other ideas? I've tried ebay, many ticket services Online, hassling the ticket office. Essentially...I'm desperate.
I've seen them twice before, but they are an amazing show!
I'll take any advice this late in the game.
Happy OLP weekend.

Tickets were $28?!! They're only $15.50 to the Philly show...course olp aren't as in demand over here...

No, face value was 18.50 for the Chicago show including the $1 venue fee. I'll be down before the show looking for a ticket closer to 20 rather than 28.

well....i bought 6 of them through ticketmaster, and after shipping and handling and all of their ass-charges, it came out to about 28 per ticket...

I hate ticketmaster. They "convenience charge" is a bunch of crap. I say my tickets were 15.50 but after ticketmaster charges they were around 21 each. I took the standard mail route cause I wasn't about to cough up any more money. I think we should lead an uprising against ticketmaster and their "convenience charges".
