Which do you prefer, and why?

PS2 cause u can play great PS1 games, watch DVDs and there are a lot of great games for the system.

It's not the nicest or most advanced, but it has the best stuff.

I voted for the PS2. It's always been my favourite.

I'm going to be getting either a GameCube or an XBox by the end of the summer, and I'm trying to decide which. Any suggestions?

I voted PS2. I've always been a hardcore Playstation user, and I love my PS2 to pieces. Plus, the games are awesome. GTA3 and Half-Life. 'Nuff said.

Axington: If anything, get and XBox, but get a type S controller, because the controller is comes with his FLIPPIN' HUGE.

Yeah, I'll probably get a 'Box. And one of the S controllers.

Halo, here I come.

Yeah. I agree. I've got a PS2. I'll keep it as well as the XBox (which is most likely what I'll get)

Yes, get really good at FIFA Soccer on the X-Box, go to an OLP concert, and challenge Jeremy in it. If they have time, he'll take you on. Same goes for Raine.

the only types of game id rather play on a pc than a console is a FPS..other than that, console is defintely the way to go..no worries about damn system requirements..

That's crap. What about RTS and RPG games. Surely they're much easier to play on a PC.

I'm playing Half-Life on my PS2, and it's rocking my socks.

I vote PS2. I use to be a nintendo freak what with the Zelda games for the N64, but then I started getting into the Final Fantasy games, so I soon got a PS2. And I love it! I was plannin on a GameCube but when I saw what they had done to Zelda, I blew it off. One of the main reasons why I was thinking of buying it was for the Zelda game. Ah well. I have enough consoles to satisfy myself. XD

Console RPG's aren't anywhere near as good as PC RPG's. They're like playing a movie, I don't really like it, compared to the really involved RPG's on a computer.

Not having to worry about system requirement's is nice, tho.
