I couldn't add any more than i did, it said too many poll options.
So if this ones popular enough i'll make a second one, then the two winners will have a poll to finalize it.

Radiohead...I know they're new and not "legends" like the others, but they've done a lot in music and are my favorite of the group.

Yeah I voted Radiohead... it's kinda hard to rate Radiohead with a band like the Beatles, though.. If Radiohead wasn't on the list, I would've voted for the Beatles or Led Zeppelin.

I don't think Radiohead should be on the list because even though they started before 1990 they have been more of a 90's band.
I voted Black Sabath with led zeppelin coming in a close second.

THE ROLLING STONES!
no other band could go through everything they have and still be together and playing after 40 years people, the beatles arent that great compared to them they were together for a very short time when compared and one point of a good band is its ability to survive and change with the times, something a lot of these band ufourtunatley could not do and thats why they are gone which is sad
but the stones are going to keep on rolling forever
there is not a band in history that even compares
the beatles beatled people while the stones kicked them in the balls with amazing rock songs

It appears a lot of people haven't gone through their parent's record collections. I say that's a justified observation, since people have voted for Radiohead over The Ramones or The Beatles or Led Zeppelin.
Sorry, I like Radiohead, but they're not in the same league as most of these other bands.

lol, my parents' record collections don't consist of bands like these... well, maybe the beatles, but the rest is classical music and like barry manalo

by Ignignokt
another thing..... why am i the only person on here to vote for Led Zeppelin......... you guys do realize that they paved the road for many many of the great bands today........ INCLUDING OUR LADY PEACE. gee....... let me think here, oh yea it was jimmy page and robert plant that had olp tour with them wasn't it........ oh yea.......

by Ignignokt
also i believe you are missing some MAJOR people..... AKA BOB DYLAN
Posted: 6/16/2002, 6:39 pm
by Sufjan Stevens
Stop yelling about it. If you would have mentioned these bands when we were asked about it, then you'd have a reason to yell about no Bob Dylan.

the point is i cant believe NO ONE ELSE MENTIONED THEM.... ARE YOU PEOPLE MUSICALLY IGNORANT????????

i said earlier i couldn't have added everyone in the long list i had
it wouldn't let me
i also don't think i should have added radiohead in the poll, one of the only reasons i did is because people were talking about them a lot in the other LOR topic
also, earlier i heard someone say something about led seppelin being a major olp influence?
not nearly as much as say the beatles, or U2, did some people forget that rain was kicked out of his privatge school because he would follow U2 on tour?

radioheard being in the lead is the dumbest thing, hell their first cd only came out in 1993(Stop Whispering), now how can a band be legendary when they havent even been puting out cds for a decade
