January 6, 2009
Jeremy announced on WEDG-FM this morning that OLP will play Buffalo's Riviera Theatre on March 26 (clumsy) and March 27 (spiritual). Other notable comments were that after performing the full cd, break, and then full set...we should expect the shows to be approximately 2.5-3 hrs long. He also siad they are looking forward to playing some of the more obscure tunes such as "The Wonderful Future" off Spiritual Machines.

I'm going without a doubt since this would be my first show to go see.
I missed the Lockport show and the Syracuse one was cancelled, just my luck.
Damn these ticket things piss me off. 37.50 for a ticket with two people going. Through all those stupid fees it turned out at 92.50! WTF?!?

It's amazing how purchasing tickets today is as much of a frustrating hassle as it was 20 years ago. You'd think they would have improved the process but it still stinks.
Anyway, in for both Buffalo shows. Box office issues aside, this looks like an amazing venue to see a show.

I don't know if any of you remember but The Irving/Filmore show did not go on sale on time. It went on sale almost 1-1/2 hours later. I remember going to the box office and being told they were not on sale yet.. I went back about 4 times before the lady said they are on sale now. Then to find out after the fact they had VIP tickets( this was you get the cd with the admission) were available after the fact. I was lucky. The lady let me trade the tickets I bought for the VIP ones..
alot of times that does happen. Tickets do not go on sale when they are suppose to. I hope you all got tickets who wanted them. Not sure if I will go or not. Money tight right now and I have no idea what my work schedule( days off) will be end of March..
M2 the Canadian shows were $50 before service charges. I think I paid something like $180 for 3 shows

It reminds me of a cross between Beacon Theatre( size) and Radio City Music Hall( setup) theatres in NYC.

Seems like you won't have a problem seeing no matter what row you're in:
