How could someone possibly have so much to say during a concert?

i'm listening to some bootlegs off the hub and i hear people all around carrying on these crazy indepth conversations about their test score at school and how they got dumped ( like a 20 minute explanation) and what restaurant they are going to go to after the show.. i don't understand. every time i go to a show everyone yells at everyone to sit down and shut the fuck up. i cant imagine conversing at a show like that all throughout the song too. why couldn't they talk like this after the show when they are at the restaurant.
mannn

i would assume people to go to concerts and dance like there is no tomorrow or at the very least enjoy their music.

yeah actually. i mean you don't pay 20 and up to listen to blarring music of a band you particular like and try to yell over it to your friend about how you were dumped.

I noticed that too in the one download from New Year's. People are having conversations in the middle of the concert, and while I think some of the stuff I can hear is funny (There were a few that made me LOL), it's just rude to everyone around you and to the band.
Grinds my gears, man.

Heh, didn't know Raine liked the Flaming Lips.

This is the reason I hate recording from the floor, or up in front. I prefer to tape from the balcony or back at the soundboard. When I taped Raine at the Phoenix, the only conversation heard is me shewing Duncan off at the very start of it. If I didn't record concerts, I could care less about the people around me. I'd be jumping and singing along with everyone else.

I find the most random group of fan-girls... then jump in the middle and just start moshing.
I don't give a shit if its White Zombie. Neil Diamond. Or Yanni.
Oh wait. No I don't.
Also ivewaited you do realize that some people do go to concerts and probably don't even know shit about the band they're seeing...

I apologize if anyone heard me yelling obscenities at people during the NYE concert...because I was doing that.

You were at that show? I never knew that.
I'm going to my first real concert in about two weeks. (I saw two concerts a few years ago, but I don't remember them and wasn't really into music yet when that happened.) I'll be so absorbed in the music, probably dying with joy, that all I'll be able to do is jump around, sing along, and go, "I LOVE THIS SONG!"

haha i heard that one too. the vancouver centre one 2005 i think, not sure. is particularly bad with talking. i was just like holy shit.. is this for real? i mean i laughed but people just need to enjoy the band. if someone was doing that during one of my shows i'd literally get down off stage walk up to them with a microphone and put it up to them and be like " since it's so important.."

She TOTALLY did. Crazy lady trying to kill us by driving us deep into rural Canada til we run out of gas.
Oh, and Shanae, have fun!!! You'll love it.

It's cool, because I was on a sort of street team for the band, and that means I get in for free, am on a guest list, and get to meet the band.
Good first concert experience? Well I'll say!
