Planning a Toronto vacation - need some help!

So I'm thinking about days to take my summer vacation this year, and I need to take it either the very last week in June or the very first week in July because of the vacation my partner is taking. Actually, the last week in June and the first week in July are...sort of the same. So I'm hoping either June 29-July 3 or July 6-July 10. I want to spend a good chunk of my time in the Toronto area.

I just spent a while searching the Ticketmaster.ca site for tickets for shows during that time, but there isn't much booked at the moment (that I'd like to go see anyway). So basically, I'm asking for help.

If you hear of any good-sounding shows during those two weeks, let me know. I could stand to see a musical too, since I'm hoping to have my best friend with me too for at least part of the week, and she's into that stuff and I don't mind it.

To give an idea of what I like, here's a list of some of my favorite bands/artists:

OLP (duh)
Ours
Pedestrian
Matt Good
Dallas Green/City & Colour
Breaking Benjamin
Billy Talent

My friend is really into Celtic Thunder (whatever that is) but she said she couldn't find any reliable dates online, so if you see anything for that let me know.

I have to have my request in to my supervisor by 3/16 which doesn't give me much time to plan summer shows :( BUT if anyone hears about shows for any of these (or similar) bands/artists, just give me a heads up, ok?

Also, things to do around the city. And if you want to chill with us while we're up, the more the merrier! Maybe I'll see if I can hunt down the Twins, and Dommie, I'm definitely making sure I see you if you're going to be around!!

Thanks in advance guys.

i'm seeing "spring awakening" in march.
it looks really good.
"we will rock you" is still playing! they have a lot of deals going on, so you might be able to get tickets really cheap. it was a really good musical. i saw it last year.
you should go to the science centre with me! and the toronto zoo is near my house. we can go there! yay animals.

Yeah, it's still a bit early for show listings. And you'll probably get to Toronto just as I'm leaving :P Dom mentioned some good stuff, and if you're into museums there's the Royal Ontario Museum (it's awesome) and the Ontario Art Gallery. Toronto.com usually is decent for having show listings and attraction info, so maybe poke around there for some ideas.
