Mmm, I'll take some! What kind? I just picked up two bags of chips to make cookies in the near future. One peanut butter chips, one chocolate. Yay cookies!
Oh, and I have a wicked recipe for the most addictive cookies in the world, if anyone's interested. Molasses sugar cookies. My grandmom swiped the recipe off a can of Brer Rabbit molasses years and years and years ago.
Code: Select all
Molasses Sugar Cookies
¾ cup shortening (butter)
1 cup sugar
¼ cup molasses
1 egg
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon cloves
½ teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt
Melt shortening in 3 or 4 quart saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat, let cool. Add sugar, molasses and egg; beat well. Sift together flour, soda, cloves, ginger, cinnamon and salt; add to first mixture. Mix well; chill. Form in 1 inch balls, roll in granulated sugar and place on greased cookie sheets 2 inches apart. Bake in moderately hot oven 375°F for 8-10 minutes.
I always cook them on the short time (8 mins), because they turn out softer and awesomer that way. And I always use butter to make them (and I melt it in the microwave cos those exist now haha... ahh, old recipes). Oh, and I usually make a double batch because... yeah, I wasn't kidding about them being the most addictive cookies in the world. You will NOT be able to stop eating them.
Enjoy! Let me know what you think.

Yeah, but god knows where it got lost to.

I actually probably posted my cookie recipe in there years ago.
That recipe's interesting, Christine! Pudding mix?
